SARAH EVI

Director of Research

As the Director of Research for the SWPA Hub, Sarah Evi (SanGiovanni) investigates issues and creates resources that help communities advance investment-ready development projects.

Sarah holds a PhD in Geography from Clark University and a Master of Urban Planning from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Previously, she served as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the University of Pittsburgh’s Urban Studies program, coordinated community-university partnerships at the Iowa Initiative for Sustainable Communities, and supported sustainable businesses and communities at Sustainable Pittsburgh.

In her free time, Sarah volunteers at the Millvale Community Library and rows with Pittsburgh’s Three Rivers Rowing Association.
