Why CoHub Exists

Southwestern Pennsylvania's communities face real, compounding challenges: population decline, aging infrastructure, fragmented governance, limited capacity, and unequal distribution of resources. Too often, the communities that need the most help have the least access to support. At the same time, there's enormous potential in this region. The civic pride, resourcefulness, resilience, and leaders who care deeply about their communities. What's missing isn't will. It's capacity, coordination, and connection.

CoHub exists to bridge that gap. We believe communities have the potential to build resilient and engaged places, and that with the right support, they can.

Our Vision

We envision a Southwestern Pennsylvania region of thriving communities proactively shaping a responsible future and connected by shared momentum.

Our Mission

CoHub works with community advocates, delivering practical support and responsive strategies that move projects forward and strengthen communities.
