MAX CHIS

Technical Fellow

Max Chis is currently the Founder and Principal of Lemali Consulting, a Pittsburgh-based consulting agency that provides technical services to local nonprofits. Since the CoHub's founding, Max has regularly partnered with the team to develop web applications, conduct data-driven research, and design creative tech solutions. More than a consultant, as Technical Fellow Max is the team's thought partner, supporter, and designer for all technical matters.
  
Max has a Master in Information in Science and two Bachelor degrees, one in Psychology and one in Computer Engineering, all from the University of Pittsburgh. Previously, he was the Lead Software Engineer of the Police Data Accessibility project. In his free time, Max has volunteered at the Garfield Community Farm since 2019, where he can be found every Thursday of the growing season.
