Michael Pehur
Vice President of Investment
Michael Pehur is the Vice President of Investment at the Southwestern Pennsylvania Municipal Project Hub, where he designs and develops innovative funding strategies — integrating public and private sources at multiple scales — for projects and clients in our region.
Michael brings two decades of experience in economic development financing and project management. He most recently served as the Development Finance Consulting Director at Duane Morris Government Strategies, where he identified grants, loans, tax incentives, and other public financing programs for complex projects. He also previously served as a project finance coordinator at Allegheny County Economic Development. He is certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional. Michael is a member of the Council of Development Finance Agencies and has served on the Board of Directors since 2013.
Michael holds a Masters in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public and International Affairs and earned his Bachelor’s degree at Washington and Jefferson College.
Outside of work, Michael lives with his wife and son and enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking, cooking, reading, and traveling.
